IHPA requires accurate activity, cost and expenditure data from jurisdictions on a timely basis in order to perform its core determinative functions. This data plan sets out IHPA's sixth rolling Three Year Data Plan, covering the period 2018-19 to 2020-21.

The Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (Pricing Authority) is established under the National Health Reform Act 2011 (Cth) (the Act), and by virtue of section 131(1) of the Act is invested with the following functions relevant to this 2018-19 National Efficient Cost Determination (Determination):

The Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (Pricing Authority) is established under the National Health Reform Act 2011 (Cth) (the Act), and by virtue of Section 131(1) of the Act is invested with the following functions relevant to this National Efficient Price (NEP) Determination 2018-19 (Determination):

National Efficient Cost Determination 2014-15

The Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (Pricing Authority) is established under the National Health Reform Act 2011 (Cth) (the Act), and by virtue of section 131(1) of the Act is invested with the following functions relevant to this 2014-15 National Efficient Cost Determination (Determination):

(a) to determine the national efficient cost for health care services provided by public hospitals where the services are block funded;

National Efficient Price Determination 2014-15

The Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (Pricing Authority) is established under the National Health Reform Act 2011 (Cth) (the Act), and by virtue of section 131(1) of the Act is invested with the following functions relevant to this National Efficient Price Determination 2014 (Determination):

(a) to determine the national efficient price for health care services provided by public hospitals where the services are funded on an activity basis;
