IHPA Annual Report 2018–19

This report was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the National Health Reform Act 2011 and section 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013. The report includes IHPA's audited Financial Statements, as required by section 42 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act.

Three Year Data Plan 2019-20 to 2021-22

IHPA requires accurate activity, cost and expenditure data from jurisdictions on a timely basis in order to perform its core determinative functions. This data plan sets out IHPA's seventh rolling Three Year Data Plan, covering the period 2019-20 to 2021-22. The Three Year Data Plan specifies the data requirements and timelines that IHPA will use to collect data over the next three years.

National Efficient Cost Determination 2019-20

This document provides the technical specifications for how the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) developed the Activity Based Funding (ABF) models for the service streams to be funded for the National Efficient Price (NEP) and the National Efficient Cost (NEC) Determinations for 2019-20.

IHPA Annual Report 2011-12

This report is prepared in accordance with the Requirements for Annual Reports, as issued by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and approved by the Joint Committee of Public Accountants Audit under sub sections 63(2) and 70(2) of the Public Service Act 1999. The report is a formal accountability document that details the activities of the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) from 1 July 2011 – 30 June 2012.

National Pricing Model Technical Specifications 2012-13

This document was produced as an accompaniment to the NEP13 and NEC13 Determinations. It provides the technical specifications for how IHPA developed the ABF models for the service streams to be funded on this basis from 1 July 2012, and provides guidance to hospitals, Local Health Networks (LHN) and state and territory health authorities on how to apply these to hospital activity.
