Shadow Pricing Guidelines Version 1.0
14 September 2021The purpose of the Shadow Pricing Guidelines is to provide guidance for the use of shadow pricing in the development and implementation of changes to classification systems. The Shadow Pricing Guidelines establishes guiding principles for commencing shadow pricing, reporting requirements during the shadow pricing period and criteria for progression to pricing.

General List of In-Scope Public Hospital Services Eligibility Policy

National Hospital Cost Data Collection, Private Hospital Report, Round 23 (financial year 2018–19)
20 April 2021The private sector National Hospital Cost Data Collection (NHCDC) is a voluntary collection that produces a range of hospital cost and activity information by the Australian Refined Diagnosis Related Groups (AR-DRG). This report includes the findings from Round 23 (financial year 2018–19) of the NHCDC for acute admitted care provided by overnight private hospitals.
