Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2019-20

The Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) has released its Consultation paper on the Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services 2019-20. Public consultation will be open from Tuesday, 12 June 2018 to 5:00PM Thursday, 12 July 2018.

IHPA’s Pricing Framework for Australian Public Hospital Services is revised and published each year. It outlines the principles, scope and methodology adopted by IHPA to determine the National Efficient Price (NEP) and the National Efficient Cost (NEC) Determinations for Australian public hospital services for the specific financial year.

Submitting comments

Digital and hard copy submissions are welcome. Submissions will be published in their original format on this page as soon as possible after they are received. All submissions will be published unless respondents specifically identify sections that they believe should
be kept confidential due to commercial or other reasons.

Digital submissions

Please forward digital submissions to submissions.ihpa [at] ihpa.gov.au. Preferred formats include .docx, .pdf and .rtf. If the content has been emailed to IHPA the text of email submissions will be reproduced in Word format.
